This evening film series features acclaimed Hollywood and foreign films on subjects of interest for biology including early discoveries in biology, medicine and public health, hereditary and infectious diseases, and impacts of human activities such as genetic engineering and carbon emissions on the global environment. A different member of the Biology faculty will be invited each week to introduce the film with a short discussion.

 

Registered students are required to attend each class and a short questionnaire will be administered at the start of the last class on May 1, 2008.

 

Grading will be Satisfactory / Unsatisfactory
