Students earning either a BA in Biology or BS degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology are eligible to receive their degree with honors. By the fourth week of the student's last semester, she or he should download an Honors Clearance form and Honors GPA worksheet from the Office of Academic Advising Honors webpage ; obtain a current official transcript (no worksheets) from the Registrar; fill the forms out; and make an appointment with Dr. Horner rdhorner@jhu.edu or 410-516-8067. Bring to that appointment the transcript, the Honors Clearance form and GPA form, the written report (if applying for the B.S.) and the recommendation letter from the research sponsor. Dr. Horner will fill out the Clearance form, which will be returned to Academic Advising. The poster may be presented at the annual TriBeta Biology Honor Society poster session scheduled in April, or the student may use the presentation of research at another sponsored poster session (Howard Hughes, Provost, or scientific meeting) to fulfill this requirement. To document the previous poster, the student must furnish Dr. Horner with a brochure or program of the poster session with the student’s name and poster title printed in it. Robert
